Promoting Information Security For Tomorrow's CISO's

The biggest mis-conception is that Information Security is all about Technology and so it should report to the CIO. Most organizations are aligned in this fashion. This is where the underlying problem lies. Look at the majority of Information Security Incidents that happen at Fortune 100 companies and you will see the underlying reason, they report to the CIO. Information Security does not have a "T" in the name. .
